Winners Announced
The PA Alliance for Geographic Education, PAMAGIC, PASDA, and the PA Department of Agriculture are pleased to announce the winners of the Pennsylvania 2017 ESRI ArcGIS Online Mapping Competition.
High School Division
Top Prize: PA State Finalist:
Leah Topping from Susquehanna Township High School (Harrisburg) with her entry entitled: “Pennsylvania’s Energy: Past, Present and Future.” Leah’s AGO story map will represent Pennsylvania in the US National Competition in June. Congratulations Leah and her teacher Ashleigh Huffman
Two PA State Awardees:
Josh Gerber from Blue Mountain High School (Schuylkill Haven) with his entry entitled “Paranormal Sites of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania” (teachers Terence Laughlin and Randy Metzger)
Kenadi Erdely and Hattie Lindey from Frazier High School (Perryopolois) with their map “Education and Economic Change in Pennsylvania From the 1970’s Until Today “ (teacher Karen Scully).

Honorable Mention Awardee: Brandon Moretti from Highland Middle School (Beaver Falls) with his map “The History of Professional Hockey in Pennsylvania” (teacher Tim Linkeheimer)
